A famous infectious disease specialist, one of the best hepatologists in Ukraine. Member of the European Association of Hepatologists. He was awarded a diploma of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine for his high professionalism.  He held the position of a Chief Infectious Disease Specialist of Ukraine of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.   • He graduated from the O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University in 1982.
  • He graduated from clinical residency on the basis of the Department of Infectious Diseases at Bogomolets NMU with specialisation in Infectious Diseases in 1984.
  • He received the second specialisation in Emergency Therapy after completing the training course at the Main Military Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine in 1986.
  • Since 2017, he combines the scientific activity and training of doctors of Ukraine in the P. L. Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education with treatment of patients in the European Clinic for Hepatotherapy REHENERATSIIA.In 2009–2017, as an assistant professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases of A. A. Bogomolets NMU, he actively develops new effective methods of treatment of viral hepatitis, liver cirrhosis of different aetiology and other diseases. The results of his developments are published in authoritative international medical publications. He passes knowledge and experience to young specialists.In 2005–2009, he headed the Subdepartment of Infectious Diseases of the A. A. Bogomolets National Medical University. He combines the work of the Head of the Subdepartment with the Chief Infectious Disease Specialist of Ukraine of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
  • In 1991–2005, he is an Assistant Professor of the Subdepartment of Infectious Diseases of the A. A. Bogomolets National Medical University. He defended his thesis, obtained Doctorate degree in Medicine. He was assigned a degree of Associate Professor.
  • In 1984–1991, he is a therapist of intensive care unit in case of medical emergencies, including viral hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, meningoencephalitis, etc.
